Joe and Brigitte

Well, it’s been an exciting start to our “vacation”.  Joe and I were on our way to Minneapolis on Thursday night, our car broke down 2 miles out of Alexandria.  We managed to drive ourselves to the Alexandria fleet Farm and spent almost 2 hours waiting for the roadside assistance company to get a flatbed so we could get our car and trailer to St. Cloud.  The tow truck driver then dropped us off at a hotel, and we have been here ever since.  Hopefully we will be on the road again soon. A&A Towing in Alexandria did a great job, and we really appreciate Robert helping us out.

After Thanksgiving, we hurried back to Fargo to get together with some friends who we haven’t seen for quite some time who were back home for the holidays (from Minneapolis and Virginia). It was wonderful seeing them again and catching up on what was new in everyone’s lives. We had a wonderful meal at the HoDo, and followed it up by visiting into the night back at our house. One of our favorite things about the Holidays is that they bring us closer to the people we care about.
